WhatsApp rolled out sticker packs for beta users

Finally, the messenger giant WhatsApp rolled out its much-awaited Stickers feature after emojis and GIFs. WhatsApp is the latest messenger app that introduces its own sticker in a beta release. The Android beta users and iOS users can now download and sent the stickers in personal chats and group chats.

Android beta users can now download the latest beta version 2.18.329 released on 24th Oct and iOS users need to update to 2.18.100 version in order to receive the activation of the Stickers feature. Reports say activation is very slow on iOS, while Android users are getting an immediate update. Currently, the stickers are available of static type only. No animated stickers are available as of now. Most of the stickers available are of same as in the facebook chats.

You need to tap the emoji button from the chat bar on the bottom and then tap the stickers icon from the bottom bar. You can also add the stickers to favourites for resuing it. You can also use stickers directly from the WhatsApp Web after updating the stickers packs on your smartphone.

If you have the updated to the latest version and still don’t see the feature, then you need to reinstall the app but before you remove, don’t forget to create a backup of your chat history.
