WhatsApp rolled out animated sticker packs for beta users after 2 years

Finally after the launching of Sticker packs in 2018, it takes nearly 2 years for the messenger giant WhatsApp for rolling rolled out its first animated stickers pack. The Android beta users and iOS users can now download and sent the animated stickers in personal chats and group chats. In the past few weeks, there have been some news of WhatsApp testing the animated stickers to its messaging app. The beta users needs to update their WhatsApp to latest version to access these abilities on both Android and iOS.

Android beta users can now download the latest beta version 2.18.329 released on 29th June and iOS users can download the beta version 2.20.70.26 or newer in order to receive the activation of the animated Stickers feature.

WhatsApp currenly has listed only one animated sticker pack 'Playful Piyomaru; available for now which is 2.8 MB in size. This animated stickers are working both in mobile as well as web version. Right now these animated stickers don’t play on the loop.

WhatsApp rolled out its first Sticker pack feature in October 2018 on its Android beta version 2.18.329 release. Read that report
